First Party Video
NewsTeam includes a built-in video pipeline so you can upload once, transcode automatically, and reuse video wherever you need it. Videos are handled as first-class assets, with flows that work both inside story creation and directly at the Bucket level.
How Video Works

Upload directly or while building Editors can upload video directly into a Bucket or add it while building an article, then reuse it later without uploading it again.

Automatic Transcoding Uploaded videos are transcoded into multiple bitrates for smooth playback on different devices and networks.

Player Agnostic Delivery NewsTeam prepares the transcoded manifests, files, and metadata your products need, but does not prescribe a single player. You can use the playback approach that best fits your site, app, or commercial requirements.

Saved in the Bucket When uploaded, videos are stored in the bucket, where they become searchable, editable, and reusable across future stories and products.

Editable metadata Titles, thumbnails, credits, keywords, mentions, and reuse settings can be managed directly in the desk.
